We traveled to Texas during late May of 2003 to pick up our new CASITA travel trailer at the Rice, Texas factory. This would be our first travel trailer. We had always been tent campers, but since we were getting a little older we decided to move up to a small travel trailer. The CASITA was a great move! We love our little house on wheels, It has plenty of room for the two of us, and we have even taken a few trips with our two Golden Retrievers, Halley and Comet. It allows us most of the freedom we had when tent camping with a lot more comforts. It is lightweight and extremely easy to pull with our 2003 Chevrolet 1500 2-wheel drive pickup and its small V8 engine.

Feel free to contact us if you are considering a small travel trailer. We will be happy to visit with you about our experiences with our 17' model. Just email us at wakarusa@mac.com and put "Casita Trailer question" on the subject line so we will know it is not junk mail.
