This site contains information about the history of the Checkered Garter Snake in the State of Kansas. The material
below was taken from a report to the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks in regard to the Checkered Garter Snake and three
other rare Kansas snakes. The report was written by me (Larry L. Miller) after completing a research project in regard to
