| about a biological field trip to Camp Creek Wetlands |
Camp Creek Wetlands is located in the southeastern corner of Shawnee County, Kansas. It is unique area that supports a diversity
of plant and animal life. Educators (elementary to college level) have been using the wetlands as an outdoor classroom for
a number of years.
Mr. Miller often took students from Topeka Collegiate School (a small private school located in Topeka) to the wetlands
to conduct biological research when he was employed as a science teacher at the school between 1991 and 2001. Click on the

Mr. Miller is no longer associated with Topeka Collegiate School. He has been employed as a science instructor Seaman
U.S.D. 345 since 2001. He now teaches freshman biology at Northern Hills Junior High School. You can read about many of the
