The Wall Lizards of Pompeii, Italy

Photo of an adult Wall Lizard taken by Belai C. Mills of Perry, Kansas  while vsiting Pompeii, Italy during the summer of 2006.  Three other lizards of the same species were also observed among the ruins.  The lizards were identified by Erin Dugan of the Kansas Herpetological Society.  Erin was also visiting the site and confirmed the identification of the other lizards observed.
