FOURTH GRADE STUDENTS LEARN ABOUT WATER AND THE KANSAS ENVIRONMENT

sncowaterweb.jpg

More than 1000 fourth grade students from Shawnee County and surrounding areas attended the annual “Water Festival” that was held at Garfield Park in North Topeka on Thursday, 18 September 2008.  The festival consisted of dozens of outstanding displays and demonstrations relating to the importance of clean water.  The images below (except for the first poster image) were taken at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library Bookmobile display.  The poster image was one of the many handouts provided to those that attended.
